Defactor Labs Launches Alpha, Europe’s first ever DeFi Institutional Grade Securitisation Vehicle, at Money 20/20.

Defactor Labs, the pioneering decentralised finance platform bringing together investors and SMEs, outlined how they are redefining the investment game with a groundbreaking announcement at Money 20/20: with the launch of Alpha, Europe’s first-ever institutional grade securitisation vehicle in the DeFi space.

Alpha, which is supported by Black Manta Capital Partners, a BaFin licensed broker-dealer, combines the stability and familiarity of traditional finance with the cutting-edge innovation of DeFi, providing investors with a secure and accessible entry point into the rapidly growing world of decentralised finance.

Revolutionising the way investors can deploy their funds towards real-world assets, Alpha provides unparalleled access to balanced and transparent investment opportunities coupled with attractive returns.

Alongside Black Manta Capital, we’re working with Tokeny and CMS to bring Alpha to life. Tokeny will provide the tokenisation infrastructure, leveraging the ERC3643 standard through their industry-leading end-to-end compliant platform while CMS, a global law firm specialising in DeFi and digital assets, will bring their expertise to ensure regulatory compliance.

This game changing product launch is just the beginning of Defactor Labs journey towards democratising the world of business lending and creating a truly inclusive global economy that benefits everyone. The team at Defactor Labs is committed to breaking down barriers and unlocking opportunities for investors and SMEs worldwide with more innovative products to be launched in the coming months.

Defactor Labs is an Irish based startup founded by Alejandro Gutierrez. Born out of his own experience as a serial entrepreneur, he saw the challenges small businesses all over the world were experiencing trying to access funding through traditional channels. He also recognised that the framework that was preventing SMEs from accessing capital was the same system that traditional institutions had no interest in fixing, as doing so would put their very existence at risk. He knew DeFi had the power to transform and power up the economic fortunes for SMEs and they set about making that a reality. In 2020, Defactor Labs was born and since then, we have been on a mission to democratise the business lending world and make it inclusive for all.

Alejandro Gutierrez: Alejandro is the CEO of Defactor Labs.  With over 15 years of experience, in  supply chain management, procurement, and supply chain finance, he has worked with high-profile companies and is widely recognised for his expertise in the DeFi field. Alejandro is also an early adopter of real-world assets in DeFi, having worked with Maker Dao and Centrifuge, among others. He is committed to driving innovation and creating new opportunities for businesses in the evolving financial landscape. With his leadership, the company is focused on providing accessible and secure investment opportunities while promoting a more inclusive and equitable economy.
